Goal Type:

Boston Qualifier

Running Accomplishments:

PR 3:55 Marathon Ogden

1:46 Half Marathon Indianapolis 500 festival

Short-Term Running Goals:

This fall I would really like to qualify for Boston. I ran a 3:55 in Ogden, Utah in May. I would also like to begin incorporating my running in to triathlons and to train for an ultra.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue to improve my training so that I have less injury/aches and pains. Compete in more marathons and ultra marathons. Complete an Ironman.

Personal:

I would love some advice on 1) how to train my slightly inbred Australian Shepherd how to run with me and 2) How to train to shave those extra minutes off my time.  Also, I am a huge foodies and would love any advice on nutrition, recipes, etc.

Welcome to the blog. Hope to see you in Boston next April. Google ChiRunning to get info on a wonderful running technique that will allow you to run faster and injury free. It has worked miracles for me. Read as much as you can... there is always something new to learn, no matter how long you have been running. Jeff Galloway has written some good books on injury free running. Good luck and enjoy the blog.
